Honouring the Journey.

This term encapsulates what Ed’s House – Northumberland Hospice Care Centre is all about. Located in Hamilton Township at the crossroads of Ontario Street and Oliver’s Lane – Ed’s House is a six bed hospice focused on resident care, hospice outreach and education.

At this spacious, bright, home-like setting the goal is to provide comfort, not cure, from diagnosis through death and bereavement.

Ed’s House Northumberland Hospice Care Centre goes beyond providing hospice care, offering:

  • Resident Care
  • Community Outreach
  • Caregiver Support
  • Grief and Bereavement Support

At Frank Bouwmans Cabinet Maker Inc., we were more than happy to provide 2 built-in cabinetry units along with quartz countertops. These are featured on the main floor of Northumberland Hospice Care Centre, in both the “Dining Room” and “Living Room”.

“Dining Room” – Beautiful turn out!

These rooms are designed as a space to connect with family and friends and provide support services. The built-in cabinetry units will provide ample storage and the open-shelving will allow for display of items.

We would like to thank the entire staff team for allowing us the opportunity to be involved with a cause that is close to each and every one of our staff.

What we all know about fundraising is that it does not stop once an initial goal is achieved. It is up to the community to continue supporting a cause to ensure it remains operational, and reaches expansion goals, such as the implementation of 4  additional palliative care suites.
